Did Drake Sleep With Lil’ Wayne’s Girl Shanell While He Was In Jail? (RUMOR)

Mediatakeout reported a while ago that Drake was punched in the face by Wayne but didn’t have a specific reason why the altercation took place. They think it’s because of this:

“Details as to what CAUSED the beef is coming to light.A Young Money insider explained, “[Lil Wayne] just feels that Drake is very disrespectful. Like he doesn’t pay enough homage to Wezzy for putting him on.”

And the insider dropped a BOMBHELL. They explained, “For example, when Wayne was locked up Drake started [sleeping with] Shanell. Now everyone knows that’s Wayne’s girl. [Lil Wayne] is not jealous over her or anything, but he thinks that was just disrespectful.”

Drake Is GQ’s Breakout Man Of The Year

Drake has landed in the pages of GQ magazine once again. Early this year he had a fashion spread in the magazine, but this time the rapper will be on the cover, as he was recently named as GQ‘s Breakout Man of the Year. Drake shares cover duty with Jeff Bridges, Stephen Colbert, and James Franco.

Drake Concert Special To Air On Thanksgiving Eve

Honestly, who is having a better rookie year than DrizzyDrake? The rapper’s September 29 performance at Radio City Music Hall will be the subject of an exclusive special that will air on Thanksgiving Eve (November 24) on Fuse.

“Sprite and Fuse Presents: Drake Live From Radio City Music Hall” is Drake’s first ever, full-length televised concert in the United States and will feature special guests Trey Songz, Birdman, Fabolous and others.

“If I could perform every night and make it to every city, I would,” Drake said in a statement. “Partnering with Fuse to broadcast my Radio City show allows me to perform for the fans who weren’t able to make it out to my Light Dreams & Nightmares Tour. Performing at a venue like Radio City is an honor and I’m excited that Fuse has given me a chance to preserve it.”

David Clark, executive vice president, general manager of Fuse is ecstatic about the event saying,

“We are thrilled that global artist Drake will become the latest performer to be part of the ‘Fuse Presents’ concert series, in his first ever televised show. With help from our presenting sponsor, The Coca-Cola Company, fans have access to the hottest concerts and exclusive programming from Madison Square Garden’s iconic venues, such as this not-to-be-missed performance at Radio City Music Hall.”

If Drake doesn’t have enough to be grateful to Fuse for, the network is airing an all-day Drake takeover on the same day as the concert, which will include a half-hour block of the rapper’s music videos.

Drake’s concert “Fuse Presents: Drake Live From Radio City Music Hall” airs on November 24 at 9PM EST.

Earlier this month, producer/songwriter Sean Garrett said the Queen of Pop’s upcoming fourth studio album will be her “biggest album ever” and that they plan to “take it to a whole other level.” And now, another producer is spilling the beans about Beyonce’s highly anticipated new project.

“Listening to New B record Dream wrote … F—INg INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Los Da Mystro later told MTV:

“She’s an artist that knows exactly what she wants to do,” he told MTV News. “She’s going to give you directions [like], ‘Here’s where I’m going, so here’s where I need you to be.’ And, you know, I’m a person that follows direction well. [And she'll be like], ‘So this is the sound, this is the vibe; make it happen.’ And I write and she likes it or she doesn’t. And in this case she did, and there you have it.”

News on Drake recording with Rihanna and Justin Bieber’s new video when you click the link below!

Hip-Hop’s most predictable rapper and one of Pop’s worst entertainers are teaming up to bless our ears with what we are sure to be a hit record just because they are who they are and whoever works with them on this is going to make sure of it! Drake recently spoke with MTV News backstage at his Miami tour kick-off last week and told them that he and Rihanna just recorded a song together.

“I just did this great song with Rihanna so I hope we get to shoot a video for that too,” he revealed to MTV News backstage at his Miami tour kick-off this week. “I’m really excited about that song.”

Drake had reportedly written for Rihanna in the past, but the track didn’t make her album’s final cut. And when he mentioned their new track, Drake refused to speak in greater detail about the collab, which will reportedly show up on Rihanna’s new album Loud (due in stores this November): “I don’t know if I’m supposed to talk about that actually.” ( Source: Rap-Up via MTV )

This ought to be interesting…

Justin Bieber tweeted yesterday that the music video for his latest single “U Smile” is due to premiere this week! He told his Beliebers exclusively that his new video would hit the web this Thursday (Sep 30).

“In 3 days U SMILE video comes,” he wrote early Monday (September 27). “And I took the opportunity 2 make a video 4 the fans, about a fan, and how we could fall IN LOVE. Love Grows. #LoveGrows.”

JB went on to discuss love and whether or not he’d date a fan:

“U know u wake up and you go online sometimes and see your words twisted or isolated from the whole meaning. It is frustrating…. …you become guarded. Sometimes u don’t know who to trust. U say one thing to someone and it comes out totally different…. ….that is why i like twitter. i can say it how it is. no one twisting things so people want to know where it is,” he explained. “My fans and i we LOVE EACH OTHER. But to be IN LOVE with someone u need to get to know them personally I get asked all the time would I date a fan and my answer I would date whoever I fall IN LOVE with, and yes that could be a fan.”

And speaking of “love,” word is the young singer is dating singer Jasmine Villegas who is currently opening for him on his “My World” Tour.

Nicki also reveals that one of this year’s biggest R&B songs was actually written for her, telling the mag,

“You know what else [Drake] told me he wrote for me? The Alicia Keys song “I’m Ready.” I happen to love the song. I never told anyone that, I hope he won’t get mad that I said that.”

“You have no idea how much I love them. We joke around. That’s the thing about Young Money, we will say a lot of crazy sh*t in the press but we will get around each other and start cracking up laughing like brothers and sisters. Drake is a playboy. Man Sued For Posing As Drake And Lil Wayne's Manager

A man is being sued for posing as Lil Wayne and Drake's manager and scamming thousands of dollars out of promotors, according to reports.

Joey Turner Jr. from Wisconsin has had the complaint filed against him by Eagles Entertainment Inc. as he pretended to be Cortez Bryant so he could book the 'Over' rapper.

Turner tried to book Drake for a show in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Allegedly posing as Eagle Entertainment, he told them that Drake was asking for $90,000 and took $9,000 as a deposit for the show which was due to take place on 1st September.

Eagles Entertainment claim in the lawsuit: "In making his statements the defendant knew that the statements and misrepresentations of defendant were in fact false and intentionally fraudulent."

The company are now asking for $27,000 in damages, and legal costs.

Drake Says R&B Mixtape Is Coming 'Very Soon'

Drake has already been thanked by the fans with a platinum plaque. Now, the 23-year-old says he wants to reciprocate the love by gifting them a free mixtape. His all-R&B project is coming sooner than later, he says.

"Me and 40 working on it," Drake said in Toronto at his OVO Festival. "I got you. I think I got a great body of work with that tape. I'm gonna do it like I do all my other tapes. I'm gonna make a night out of it. Just make sure you're on the Net that night downloading, and it's yours. I feel the people deserve it. It's hard for me to put out free rap albums these days. So the best I can do is switch genres and put something out for free. It'll be yours very soon."

Although Drizzy didn't reveal any of the records we may find on the tape, Mixtape Daily is guessing that the leaked "Fall for Your Type" (the record appeared unfinished on the Net several weeks ago) may appear somewhere on there.

''Fall for Your Type, I wish was on there," he said Sunday while talking about records such as "Darlin' " — another leaker — that didn't make Thank Me Later. "But I have other plans for that record, so it's gonna be good."

As for his next official LP, Drake said he may be simplifying his song structure some.

"What I want is just for the records to be able to be played and enjoyed without it being too complex," he explained.

Drake wants to play Obama

Rapper Drake, who got his showbiz start as an actor, is interested in playing President Obama in a biopic. “Any time I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel. I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice,” he told Paper magazine. “If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions …” The Toronto rapper had a recurring role on the TV show, “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”
