Did Drake Sleep With Lil’ Wayne’s Girl Shanell While He Was In Jail? (RUMOR)

Mediatakeout reported a while ago that Drake was punched in the face by Wayne but didn’t have a specific reason why the altercation took place. They think it’s because of this:

“Details as to what CAUSED the beef is coming to light.A Young Money insider explained, “[Lil Wayne] just feels that Drake is very disrespectful. Like he doesn’t pay enough homage to Wezzy for putting him on.”

And the insider dropped a BOMBHELL. They explained, “For example, when Wayne was locked up Drake started [sleeping with] Shanell. Now everyone knows that’s Wayne’s girl. [Lil Wayne] is not jealous over her or anything, but he thinks that was just disrespectful.”

Lil Wayne Completes First Song Since Prison Release

Lil Wayne is officially on the comeback trail now that he’s completed his first song since his release from prison.

As previously reported the Young Money head left Rikers Island prison November 4 after serving 8 months for felony weapons possession.

Since then, Lil Wayne’s reportedly been working tirelessly in the booth and is ready to drop his latest track.

According to his DJ and the director of “The Nino Brown” docu-series, Wayne’s set to drop a new track any day now that sounds like his monster hit “A Milli” on another level.

He also touched on the fact that Lil Wayne’s probation bans him from drinking alcohol for three years.

Is Lil Wayne Going To Be A Father AGAIN?

Lil Wayne may have yet ANOTHER illegitimate child running around — this according to a Missouri woman who hit Weezy with paternity papers while the rapper was serving time at Rikers Island. According to tmz.com,Weezy was supposed to get tested before September 10, 2010 … but since he was behind bars at the time he got the letter (dated August 20), the judge pushed the deadline to December 9.

But the story doesn’t end here, get this…The woman going after Wayne is the child’s grandmother!!

Wayne has fathered 4 other kids, that we know of!!

Lil Wayne Banned From Las Vegas Hotel

Lil Wayne banned from the Wynn Hotel.

While a number of people were excited to see Lil Wayne released from jail last week, a hotel in Las Vegas banned the rapper from stepping foot inside their doors.

TMZ reports that officials at the Wynn Hotel banned the rapper from coming inside after he gave a surprise performance with Drake at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night.

The rapper, who’s not allowed to drink alcohol for three years, was absent for an after party at the Wynn Las Vegas and it apparently was not by a choice.

According to TMZ, a rep for the Wynn informed a member of Drake’s entourage that Lil Wayne would not be allowed on the property — and if he tried to enter, he’d be removed because they “didn’t want any trouble.”

A rep for Wayne says however that there was no issue as the rapper stayed at the Palms Casino Resort and was not “scheduled” to appear at any events.

Police Escort To See Lil Wayne?

A Florida man last week called 911 seeking a police escort to the Miami home of the rapper Lil Wayne.

Michael Kruse, 20, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge for making false emergency calls, according to the below St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office report.

When Kruse, who was calling from his Ford Taurus, requested the escort, a police operator asked, ‘You want a police escort to take you to Miami?’

He answered, ‘Or, do you have a helicopter?’

The 911 operator replied, ‘We don’t just send helicopters up for rappers.’

Kruse, pictured in the mug shot at top, did not respond to an interview request left on his cell phone.

Lil’ Wayne’s Welcome Home Party

Lil’ Wayne was in Miami over the weekend to celebrate his freedom. He spoke briefly with MTV News to thank his fans, family, and friends for the love they have showed him since his release last week Thursday. On Saturday, Wayne surprised both the crowd and labelmate Drake by showing up in Las Vegas to perform “Miss Me.” And before then, he hit up his home town of New Orleans to catch a Hornets game. Watch the short interview from last night’s party below.

Prison Guards Snuck To Visit Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne was a pretty popular prisoner at Rikers during his 8 month stay. Captain Raphael Collazzo of Riker’s Island faced a 10-day suspension, without pay, for making an unauthorized visit to Weezy while he was in solitary confinement. Prior to this a female guard, Amelia Negron, was dismissed from her position after being accused of wandering into the unit where the rapper was being held, without proper authorization.

So what would make a prison guard risk their job to take a peek at Weezy F. Baby?

Birdman Reveals Lil Wayne’s Plans Over The Next Few Days Since His Release

Birdman Speaks on Lil Wayne’s Release

Birdman chimed in this morning on Big Boy’s Morning show as he gave the run down plans for Weezy’s first day home.

He stated,

“We in the Maybachs going to the hotel for a minute to see the kids then we on the jet after that. Then we gotta go to Arizona for a minute to check in cause he got a little paperwork out there. After that we gone come to L.A. for a minute then to Miami for this party.”

Lil Wayne Has To Serve Another Day In Jail

According to MTV.com,

Rapper Lil Wayne will not be released today because his time was miscalculated. Here’s more from the correctional officers statement to MTV:

“His time was miscalculated. He owed, he owes one day of ‘good time,’ so it’s gonna be another night,” Officer Caraballo said Thursday as MTV News awaited the New Orleans lyricist’s release outside the rapper’s jail. Caraballo added that “good time” is reduced when an inmate runs into trouble behind bars. “If you get an infraction in jail, they’ll take away ‘good time’ — time that you accumulated for good behavior.”
Our guess is the incident that occurred back in May when Wayne was found in possession of an MP3 player and headphones could have been an what pushed back his ‘good time’.

But as always, we will keep you posted!

Lil Wayne Drops Final Letter From Prison; Release Set For Thursday

Lil Wayne dropped a new letter from prison, November 2nd, just days before he is released from Rikers Island after serving eight months after police found a loaded handgun on his tour bus in October of 2007.

The rapper’s 9th and final letter thanked fans for their support throughout his prison stay, as well as his family, friends and his Young Money Records’ team.

“I think back to when I first arrived and I had no clue of what I’d be experiencing,” Lil Wayne wrote. “I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation. For that, I thank God, my family, and you, my amazing fans. I prayed for you all every night, as I’m aware that I was in your prayers as well.”

Lil Wayne is slated to be released from Riker’s Island on Thursday (November 4th). His album, I Am Not A Human Being, is currently #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.

His full letter to fans is listed below:

Hello world! My world! Our world!

As I greet you all in my last days on this island, I must reflect. I think back to when I first arrived and I had no clue of what I’d be experiencing. I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation. For that, I thank God, my family, and you, my amazing fans. I prayed for you all every night, as I’m aware that I was in your prayers as well. The very first day that I received mail, it was about 300 pieces or more! I smiled like a child of Christmas. But when I began to read them, my heart smiled. I laughed with some of you, reasoned with some of you, and even cried with some of you. I responded to as many of you that time would allow. I plan to keep reading and responding after my release. I thank you all for being so very supportive, as I never imagined how much impact my words and life can have. With this knowledge, I vow to continue to be me! For you have assured time that I don’t have to change for no one but God. I will be the same Martian I was when I left, just better. You fans are more than amazing, and I will for to the end of the world for your love. This isn’t the last of weezythanxyou.com I will continue to thank you when I’m home.

I simple LOVE you all.

P.S. Thanx for supporting my YM team the way you do!!

Now I like to thank my wonderful family and friends for never letting me down. Your love and support is worth the world. I am grateful for you all and I couldn’t have done it without your love. Also, I thank everyone who came to visit me. That s**tmeant a lot, straight up! I would do the same, if not more for you.

Now I must dedicated something to the woman in the picture…

…sitting on this bed with my back against one of the four walls I’ve been confined to, all I can think of is you. Staring at you staring at me, from the picture of you that I see. I try so hard to make the picture smile. You look so serious. Seriously beautiful. You, me, we are one. Then I look further to the right and there’s a picture of “the bed by the water”… where I dream to be with the woman in the picture that still won’t smile. I sometimes talk to the picture, but it never responds. Although, I’ve been told that a picture speaks a thousands words, I only wish that this picture would speak of four… “I love you too.” That would be the perfect response to what I frequently say to it. You see, the picture of “the bed by the water” has sand in it, and the woman in the other picture has sand in her hair… put them together, and she’s there. And when I dream, I’m there with her. Shhh… quietly these four walls become that place in the picture. And the woman in the picture begins to whisper… “I love you too”… she responds!

And now she smiles. Imagination is perfect.

Dedicated to the woman in the picture.

Gone!

Lil Wayne’s “I Am Not A Human Being” Tops Billboard Charts

Lil Wayne’s new EP has shot to the top of Billboard charts after its physical copy release this month.

As previously reported, I Am Not A Human Being was available online on September 27th, the same day as the rapper’s 28th birthday.

Following that the album was distributed to retailers this month where it quickly sold over 125,000 copies, a reported 443% sales boost.

I Am Not A Human Being has since moved from No. 16 to No.1 on the charts.

The last number one album for Wayne was 2008’s Tha Carter.

He will be released from prison November 4.

Lil Wayne Releases New Letter From Prison

After saying he was writing his last letter before his November release Lil Wayne has penned a new letter to his fans from his current location in the bing, on Riker’s Island.
In it the rapper details his daily routine, explains his latest situation and gives some of his post-prison plans.

What’s poppin?!

By now I’m guessing that you all have heard about my recent relocation to the bing, which is punitive segregation. Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week. This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I fu#ked up and now I must deal with the consequences. As I write this, I only have 25 days left, and it’ll be even less than that when you read this. So honestly, I’m fine.

Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous. I do miss being able to hear from my family everyday but once a week will have to suffice. To them, I apologize. I’m still able to receive mail so reading and responding is still a huge part of my day. I’d like to thank everyone that sent me B-Day cards and wishes… that was terrific. You all are wonderful, simply wonderful.

Well anyways, I just wanted you all to know that I’m good and I’ll be good! But at the end of the day, I did it all for music!!! By the way, thanx for downloading the I Am Not A Human Being album. And if you haven’t done so already, please do! And if you have, do so again! When I get out I’m going to put the album in stores and shoot more videos for it. Which songs should I shoot videos to?

Also, we will be adding bonus songs and packaging the new Nino Brown DVD with the in store album! You’re welcome.

Talent is best nurtured in solitude… Be home soon!…Dreaming of being in Greece.

Lil Wayne Pens Final Letter From Jail

Lil Wayne has written his final letter from behind bars and is assuring fans that he’ll back soon.

As previously reported, the Young Money head will be in solitary confinement for the rest of his stay behind bars and asked fans to stop sending him mail because they were becoming a fire hazard.

Now with his November 3rd release date approaching, Wayne is penning his final message to his fans.

Speaking from his Weezythanxyou blog, he tells his loyal following that in 27 days the “ride starts again” and thanked them for the letters and pictures; the highlight of his days besides speaking with his children.

“Hello world. Time is ticking and I’m counting every second. Because of my new limitations, this unfortunately has to be my last letter. I don’t think people truly understand how much their thoughts and well wishes have helped me through this time in my life. Not everyone is as lucky as I am and it humbles me daily.

You would be amazed what positivity can do in a negative environment. I’m going to miss reading about your lives. I’m going to miss looking at the pictures. They were the highlight of my days aside from speaking with my kids. Don’t stress over this in 27 days, the ride starts again.”

He also thanked fans for supporting his new EP I Am Not A Human Being” and “Free Weezy” t-shirts.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is supporting I Am Not A Human Being. It amazes me each time people go out and support my music. I’ll always be in debt to you for that. Keep rocking your “Free Weezy” tees and rocking out to my music. Trust me when I say this is almost over. I love you. I’ll continue to pray for all of you. Just keep doing the same for me.”

Lil Wayne Sent To Solitary Confinement

Lil Wayne will serve the rest of his prison sentence at Rikers Island in solitary confinement.

Weezy, who was already in a private cell, was sent to solitary confinement after guards discovered he was hiding a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player in his cell. The actual MP3 player was hidden in another inmate’s cell.

Weezy’s will now be spending up to 23 hours of the day in his cell, and will only be allowed out for visits, religious services, and one hour of recreational time. His phone privileges have been reduced to only one personal call per week.

Lil’ Wayne is expected to be released from prison on November 5th.
I really disagree with this. How is Lil Wayne getting trouble for something found in other inmates cell? Now this man can't talk to kids everyday like he use to. One phone call a week. This is not right!!!

Lil Wayne Writes New Letter To His Fans: Says He Only Listens to “Slow Jamz and Sports Talk”

Staying in touch with his fans, Lil Wayne has released a 2nd letter to his follwers from Rikers Island.

Just in time for the release of his new album “I’m Not A Human Being” Lil Wayne sends thank yous to all his supporters and updates them on his time in the pen.

What’z poppin!

I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!

As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.

I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.

So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.

To everyone who’s come to visit me. I thank you for that, graciously. It means a lot. Well I’ll end this letter but never my love. Speaking of love… Mr. Chris Kyle, will you marry Ms. Ashalee Albarr??? Now that was cool. Well I hope y’all got my new album ‘I Am Not A Human Being’. It’s great, like every one of you. Peace.

P.S. … you’re mines

Lil Wayne Reportedly Receiving “VIP Treatment” In Jail

As Lil Wayne continues his stay at Rikers Island correctional facility, more details on his treatment have surfaced.

As previously reported, a female prison guard was reprimanded for “spending additional time” with the rapper while another was fired from the correctional facility to trying to steal a glance his way.

Now local New York newspaper, The Village Voice, reports that the rapper is receiving VIP style treatment in the form of outside food and extended visitation time.

According to the paper, when Wayne’s visitors arrive at Rikers, they are picked up in a separate car by an official who drives them to the Eric M. Taylor Center where they are allowed to stay for longer than the hour permitted by policy.

Additionally Wayne has been reportedly tipped off by guards about upcoming searches for contraband and receives food from the Jackson Hole restaurant and a nearby pizzeria.

The Village Voice also reports that a prison guard barricaded herself inside a locker room last week and demanded to see the rapper.

As previously reported, Wayne was busted for music contraband after being found with an i-Pod in May.
