Ne-Yo is now a father after his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw gave birth to a baby girl 11/13/10. The proud father took to Twitter to gush about the news:

“As my life transforms due to the new life that sprung up on me last night, it’s good to know my folks support. Luv y’all,” the singer/songwriter wrote to Twitter followers who piled on the e-love after hearing about his daughter’s birth.

The singer/songwriter added, “Brand new baby, brand new album. Life is GOOD!!!! Nov. 22nd, around the corner!!!”

Ne-Yo is about to become a father…I’ve just learned that his baby mama Monyetta just went into labor.

According to the ybf.com, Ne-Yo and his mother Lorraine were hosting an event for Ne-Yo’s foundation tonight at the David Yurman boutique in Atlanta at Lenox Mall, and 5 minutes into the show, he thanked the crowd for coming out and told them the news.
Ne-Yo said to the event goers that he needed to leave as “his baby girl was about to be born.”

R&B singer/producer Ne-Yo has revealed that he had spotted Justin Bieber’s talent even before the teen sensation was introduced into the music world by singer Usher.

According to straightfromthea.com, Ne-Yo claims that Justin did a cover of one of his songs on YouTube, which created a buzz.

“He came to a show and performed and was incredible then, but I didn’t do anything because he was just 11-year-old.”

Fast forward to four years later, Justin auditioned for Usher and was signed up by Island Def Jam chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid.

But at a launch party for Rico Love’s new record label last weekend, Usher remained mum on the discrepancy. When Usher was asked about the claim, the hit-maker declined: “Um — next question please.”

Ne-Yo adds that he’s ok with his decision but despite Bieber’s huge success under Usher’s wing, Ne-Yo still felt the need to throw some shade, he states that Justin’s hits aren’t memorable and he still has some work to do.

Ne-Yo revealed he’s having a baby girl with his girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, and they’ve narrowed down a name for the little one. He’s also child proofing his apartment and buying new vehicles to accommodate his new lifestyle.

NE-YO is making big plans for the daughter his girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, is expecting in January. The couple is leaning toward naming her Madeline. The R&B singer also told Page Six at Denise Rich’s apartment he recently bought a Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera, since both have room for baby seats, and redecorated his home. “That’s all I need is little Madeline to push a sculpture down on her head. Can’t have that.” NE-YO and Rich are working together on his Compound Foundation for foster teens. Ne-Yo will perform at Rich’s Angel Ball for Cancer Research on Oct. 21

Ne-Yo may be one of T.I.’s largest supporters, but the R&B singer/songwriter thinks that his fellow ATLien needs to get his act together.

Ne-Yo says that T.I.’s problems stem from the people around him.

I just feel that he makes a lot of poor decisions when it comes to the people that he surrounds himself with….Nine times out of 10 when he gets in trouble, it’s not him, it’s the people that he’s with.

T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of possession of ecstasy pills in West Hollywood.

Ne-Yo had a few words for T.I. as well:

You’ve been given a bunch of different chances. Now is the time to really go, “you know I get it, all right, I get it.”
