Rapper 50 Cent and E! late night talk show host Chelsea Handler were spotted out on what looked to be a date Sunday night, adding fuel to rumors that the two of them are dating. And now a source confirms to UsMagazine that the odd pair are in fact hooking up! The source also says that this random fling has been going on for a while now and they “hookup’ whenever they’re in the same town.

“It’s been going on awhile,” the source says of the comedienne and the rapper, both 35. “It’s more of a hookup thing — whenever they are in the same town.”

Sounds like they’re just cutty buddies (aka “friends with benefits”) to us! Reps for 50 Cent so far have yet to comment on this and Chelsea’s reps say that she “saves all her comments for her own show.”

Yesterday we told to you about a rumor going around that Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent are dating after the alleged couple were spotted out on a date together in New Orleans. And here’s the picture proof! TMZ obtained this photo of Chelsea and Fiddy out on a date at the Blue Nile jazz bar Sunday night (Oct 3) in New Orleans, and folks on the scene say the pair were very “hot and heavy with each other.”
