Celebrities are often held to a different standard than the average person. Be it because of the role model status bestowed upon them or their larger than life personalities, a great number of people are placing a lot of expectations on them.
In the recent case of T.I. going back to jail, those expectations were shattered not only for his family but also for communities near and far due to the cancellation of his tour and the economic impact it could have.
The planned T.I. tour was allegedly sponsored by AXE for a total of 50 dates. A tour of this caliber requires tremendous logistical and financial resources that may have already been contractually engaged at the time of T.I’s arrest.

Federal authorities have ordered rapper T.I. to report directly to a federal prison in Arkansas by Nov. 1.
Once T.I. reports to prison, he will begin serving his 11 month sentence for violating his probation.
U.S. Marshal Beverly Harvard ordered today that T.I. will report to the Forrest City low-security prison where he served parts of an earlier 10-month federal weapons charge.
As previously reported, a federal judge in Atlanta sentenced the rapper this month to serve another 11 months in prison for breaking his federal probation after he was arrested Sept. 1 in Los Angeles on drug charges

“TI’s recent prison release from his felony incarceration for pleading guilty to unlawfully receiving, possessing and buying pistols, machine guns, silencers, firearms and ammunition as it relates to his probation violation of his preceding 1998 conviction for possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute in Cobb County, Georgia,”

T.I. was still on probation for federal weapons charges when he was arrested Sept. 1 on drug charges in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were taken into custody during a traffic stop in West Hollywood in which deputies said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana from inside the car. They were soon released on bond.
After the arrest, a U.S. probation officer alleged that T.I. committed three violations of his supervised release from prison: possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon. Pannell then ordered T.I. to appear back before him in court on Friday.

T.I. played a key role in talking a suicidal man off the ledge of a 22-story building in Atlanta today ... TMZ has learned.
It all went down earlier this afternoon -- when cops responded to a 911 call about a man who was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta ... the same building where the Ryan Cameron Radio Show is based.
We're told T.I. heard about the jumper on the radio -- and called Ryan Cameron to see if there was anything he could do to help out with the situation.
Ryan Cameron tells us ... he told T.I. to roll over to the building, where the rapper met with police and recorded a heartfelt video message which cops then played for the man on the roof.
We're told after the man saw T.I.'s video he agreed to step off the ledge ... and met T.I. in the lobby, where the two were able to talk things out.
Ryan Cameron also tells us that cops informed the radio station that they will not be pressing charges against the man.
Calls to T.I.'s reps have not been returned.

According to our great friends at Mediatakeout.com, supposedly, T.I. is in negotiations to accept a plea agreement that will allow his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris to remain out of prison while he will have to return to serve 6 more months.
According to a person CLOSE to TI, the rapper legal team has tentatively agreed to accept 6 MONTHS JAIL TIME. In exchange, his
wife and mother of his children, Tamkea “Tiny” Cottle will avoid ANY
PUNISHMENT.The insider explained, “TI wants to be certain that she will remain free to raise their children. That’s his number one priority. Over his career, and even over his freedom.”
We are not 100% with this information being that T.I. did violate his probation as a convicted felon with a felony possessions of weapon charge back in 2007. 6 months just seems a little to short when the original time someone could face for the weapons charge was up to 10 years. However, this would be a great look for Tiny because who would take care of all them kids? But you know TheBoxHouston.com will keep you informed because our ear is always in the streets!

Rapper T.I. may have been sippin' on sizzurp after all the night of his felony drug possession arrest -- because cops say dude had the main ingredient, codeine, when he was busted.
T.I.'s probation officer just filed documents in Georgia that say L.A. County Sheriff's deputies found codeine, marijuana and ecstasy in T.I.'s possession during the September 1 arrest.
As we first reported, T.I. had several Styrofoam cups in his Maybach that night (pictured above). Sizzurp -- aka codeine syrup -- is commonly served in Styrofoam cups.
The document also states that T.I. tested positive for opiates the day after the arrest, but does not name a specific drug. Neither marijuana nor ecstasy are opiates.

Rapper T.I. was seen out wearing a BBC/Ice Cream Cones and Bones sketch logo New Era fitted cap ($60), a True Religion Jimmy Jacket with an attached heather grey hoodie($268), and a pair of Maison Martin Margiela sneakers ($595). T.I has been a hot topic for the media lately but it’s good to see he is not letting that slow him down. See pics below
