Beyonce Buys Jay-Z A $2 Million Dollar Car For His Birthday

While Ross and Diddy may be calling themselves the Bugatti boys, you can add Jay-Z to the group as Beyonce bought her hubby the new Bugatti Veyron Sport.

The couple who are currently in Australia together as Jigga tours with U2, had a nice birthday dinner on the rooftop of a restaurant. The waiter who served them said the pair were just like an ordinairy couple.

“They sat together all night and were in no way prima donnas – there were no egg-white omelettes ordered, if you know what I mean. They looked like any normal couple yet are multi-million-dollar megastars . . . and they tipped well.”

Jay-Z is not the only celebrating in Australia, as Oprah’s audience members began on their luxurious Australian giveaway and may possibly run into Jay and B on their vacation.

Although the car is nice, I’m pretty sure waking up to Beyonce makes everyday your birthday!

Jay-Z Has Words For Former President Bush Over Kanye West Episode

George Bush Jr. may have gotten Kanye West to say sorry, but if the former president of the United Stated is looking for the former president of Def Jam to throw him a pity party, he might not want to hold his breath.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press regarding his book Decoded, Jay-Z made it clear that he totally agrees with Kanye’s original sentiment that, ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people’, saying,

“I 100 percent agreed with the comments that he made, because again … it felt like it was being done to Black people,” Jay-Z tells the AP. “Like all you saw on the news was Black people with help signs and all this stuff, and then you have this picture of the commander in chief, who we all rely on, just flying by.”

Kanye West recently backed away from the comments, after George Bush Jr. categorized the statement as the lowest point of his eight-year presidency in his new book, Decision Points.

Jay- Z says that if Bush Jr. thinks West’s statement was the lowest of the lows then he has his priorities wrong,

“Just the fact that he thinks that the worst thing that happened to him is Kanye saying something about him. Like, what? That alone shows you where his mind is. Are you kidding me?” says Jay-Z .

Though he said nothing when the incident happened, Bush Jr. finally replied to West’s infamous remarks earlier this year during a promotional tour for his memoirs, Decision Points, which hit shelves November 9.

‘Ye later back down from his post Katrina statement saying, “I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist.”

Ye’s retraction caused a stir to many in the hip-hop community who felt that West should have stuck by his initial statements about the former president, including Pusha T and Ed Lover.

Jay-Z Admits to Shooting His Brother When He Was 12

Jay-Z admits he shot his older brother Eric when he was 12 years old, while he grew up in a Brooklyn housing project ravaged by violence.

The rap superstar and business mogul spoke about the incident for the first time in The Guardian’s weekend magazine, admitting he opened fire on his brother after he stole a ring from Hova to feed his drug habit.

“I thought my life was over,” he said. “I thought I’d go to jail forever. It was terrible. I was a boy, a child. I was terrified.”

However, Jay-Z was never prosecuted over the incident, as his brother did not press charges. In fact, Eric even apologized for his crack addition when Jay visited him in the hospital.

An account of the ordeal can be heard on Jay’s track ‘You Must Love Me,’ from his second album ‘In My Lifetime, Vol. 1.’ On the track, he raps, “Saw the devil in your eyes, high off more than weed, confused, I just closed my young eyes and squeezed.”Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, now has a business empire and a fortune estimated at $450 million. He is the CEO of Roc Nation records and co-owns the 40/40 nightclub chain and the New Jersey Nets.

Jay-Z Says He Spoke To Biggie An Hour Before His Death

Jay-Z is revealing a fact unbeknownst to many, that he was one of the last people to speak to the late Biggie Smalls before he died.
During Jay-Z’s interview with Dr. Cornel West and Paul Holdengräbe at the New York Public library this week, Jay spoke highly of his old friend and described him saying,
“He wasn’t a troublemaker at all — he was just a funny, charismatic guy.”

Jay also adds that on that fateful March night, he spoke to Big just 60 minutes before he was gunned down in L.A.

“ For him to die so senselessly… I spoke to him that night, and he was so happy to be in L.A., after the whole East Coast-West Coast thing. He felt like he finally was back in L.A. and everything was where it was supposed to be. He loved being in L.A.. And we see this happen in movies — when everything is just fine, and we hung up the phone, and one hour later, he’s no longer with us.”

Jay-Z’s book “Decoded” hit stores Tuesday and is reportedly sold out in several locations.

Jay-Z Signs Copies of His New Book “Decoded” in New York City

Rapper Jay-Z, who made an appearance on The Late Show last night, was at Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue earlier today (Wed. Nov 17) to sign copies of his new book ‘Decoded‘.

The Jigga man says his book isn’t an auto-biography as most would assume. He explains in his own words:

“Decoded is first and foremost, a book of rhymes, which is ironic because I don’t actually write my rhymes–they come to me in my head and I record them. The book is packed with the stories from my life that are the foundation of my lyrics–stories about coming up in the streets of Brooklyn in the 80’s and 90’s, stories about becoming an artist and entrepreneur and discovering worlds that I never dreamed existed when I was a kid. But it always comes back to the rhymes.”

Jay-Z has joined forces with Bing to promote his new book 'Decoded' and during the cocktail party, he is introduced by Eric Hadley from GM Bing as having 11 debut singles reaching number one, but Jigga was quick to correct the mistake.

The Miami Police Department has pretty much admitted that they were wrong for using Jay-Z’s picture on a “Report Gang Activity” banner which alludes that Jay-z is a thug and a gangbanger.

Officer Kenia Reyes of the Miami Police Department told Entertainment Weekly,
“It was something that was inadvertently done.”

The Miami Police Department ‘s website is currently featuring a large mural-banner depicting five “thugish” looking characters, and two of them happen to look exactly like Jay-Z

Although Jay-Z is on the cover of this month’s Forbes, it seems that he is also on the cover of another banner.

The banner which is supposed to encourage the reporting of gang activity features five tough looking men throwing up gang signs and holding weapons.

As you can see in the banner, the man in the middle and the man to the left of him look eerie similar to Hip-Hop’s future billionaire Jay-Z.

Check the pictures below that we think the banner is modeled after, and let us know if you see the resemblance.

MC Hammer Is “So Appalled” By Jay-Z, Dissing Hov On Halloween

On “So Appalled,” Kanye West’s latest G.o.o.d Friday leak, Jay-Z went out of his way to highlight MC Hammer’s financial misfortunes:

“And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused / I lost $30 Mill so I spent another $30 ’cause unlike Hammer $30 Mill can’t hurt me.”

Evidently, the maker of “Can’t Touch Dis” took offense to the lyric and plans to respond to Hova on Halloween, otherwise known as “Devil’s Night.”

Hammer went so far as to Tweet Kanye West directly to say, “Jay-Hoe aka #HellBoy Tell Jay October 31st we’ll see if this record and video “Hurt’s Him.“

Last year MC Hammer told Allhiphop.com that he had “respect for Jay-Z” and his ability to play chess in the industry [CLICK HERE TO WATCH], but feels prepared to go head-to-head with him now.

Was Jay-Z indeed “dissing” Hammer if he was simply stating facts? Or was this another sneak attack by Hova? What do you think Hammer is going to bring for Jay-Z?
