Alicia Keys, Usher sign off Twitter and Facebook for Keep A Child Alive charity

Alicia Keys and Usher have agreed to go offline on Wednesday, which is World AIDS Day, to raise awareness for Keep A Child Alive, a charity by Digital Life Sacrifice.

The participating celebrities include Lady Gaga, Serena Williams, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Janelle Monae, and others. They have all joined forces to silence their social networks until $1 million is raised for the charity. The celebrities have all filmed their “last tweet and testament” videos and will appear in ads showing them lying in coffins, representing their “digital deaths.”

“This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention,” said Keys, who has more than 2.6 million followers on Twitter.

The foundation, which began in 2003, will accept donations through text messages and bar-code technology, which is featured in the charity’s Buy Life campaign. Raised efforts support families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

Jennifer Hudson Helps Michigan Avenue Magazine Celebrate Their 2-Year Anniversary

Jennifer Hudson covers the latest issue of Michigan Avenue Magazine, and she helped the publication celebrate their 2-year anniversary last night (Tues. Oct 5) in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois. The 29-year-old Oscar winner posed for a few pics on the red carpet before making her way into the House of Blues Chicago for the celebration, which also featured a performance from the Grammy Award winning singer.

Jennifer Hudson Warned Not To Lose More Weight

Jennifer Hudson has revealed that she is still getting familiar with her new body, and that it's taking some time to get used to.

The Oscar winner recently became a Weight Watchers ambassador after dropping from a size 16 to a size 6 and she admitted recently that she dropped another 20lbs.

In an interview with People magazine, Hudson said: "I didn’t expect to go as far as I did! People are like, ‘OK, Jennifer don’t lose anything else!’"

The singer and actress says that she still can't get over her new dress sizes and is really aware of her new shape when she is shopping for clothes.

Hudson joked: "I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and I’m like (she looks over both shoulders), ‘Who are you trying to talk to?’"

"My mind hasn’t caught up yet. [But] I’ve always been a person who’s comfortable with myself whether it’s plus-size, small size, it doesn’t matter."

Hudson has previously said that she doesn't want to lose any more weight - but who thinks that she's got the Hollywood bug? Or do you like her new style?

Jennifer Hudson Nightmare Continues

It’s been nearly two years since the horrific murders of her mother, brother and nephew and singer Jennifer Hudson is still searching for closure.

The prime suspect in the murders, William Balfour – who was charged in late 2008 – has been granted yet another continuance today, leaving no end in sight once again.

What judge would keep granting him a coninuance?
