Soulja Boy Says He Spent $3 Million On Gold Jewelry, Sells Only 13,000 Copies Of ‘The DeAndre Way’ Album

Soulja Boy is known for his often off-the wall jewelry collection and according to the SODMG head, he recently spent as much as $3 million on gold alone.

The rapper sat down for an interview with MTV’s RapFixwhere he revealed the extravagant amount he spent on neckwear.

“Gold is the best thing going, all the people that’s watching, honestly … all of my jewelry together … gold is where it’s at.”

The 20-year-old that was previously robbed at gunpoint in his Atlanta home also spoke on how he keeps his jewelry safe.

“It’s in a safe deposit bank in Soulja Bank over in Japan that you never heard of,”Soulja joked.

“Nah, it’s heavily secured though, ya feel me?…I keep my jewelry locked up, I keep it on watch. Whenever I select a piece … I put everything else up.”

Unfortunately Soulja’s poor album sales may keep him from buying another $3 million dollars worth of bling.

Billboard reports that the rapper with over 2.5 million Twitter followers sold 13,000 copies of his DeAndre Wayalbum.

The album features his singles “Pretty Boy Swag” and “Speakers Going Hammer.”

Soulja Boy Recalls Shooting: “I Shot Him Like Two More Times…”

Soulja Boy may not be the first rapper that you think of when it comes to going hard and busting shots, but in a recent interview with VIBE Magazine, Soulja Boy reveals that he shot and injured someone.

Unbeknownst to many, the Atlanta rapper shot someone who broke into his home.

“I’m thinking if I shoot this n*gga, I can get that gun and shoot all these n*ggas at the same time,”Soulja Boy said in the interview. “So I jumped out, shot at the dude four times and missed. He ducked down and ran. He started yelling, so I shot him like two more times. Then he turned around and started running. So I popped his a** like two more times in the back, and he hit the floor.”

Although the incident sounds like a scene out of a 50 Cent video, Soulja Boy states that shooting only occurred after three men attempted the home invasion.

Even though the robbers eventually fled, the entire situation made Soulja reluctant in discussing it due to his age at the time and his fan base. Now an adult, Soulja states that he no longer wants to hide what happened because he did nothing wrong.

“I really didn’t want nobody to know that I shot somebody,” Soulja contunued. “My label [didn't] want that out there [because] when the robbery went down I had fans like 9, 10 years old. But being that I’m 20, I don’t give a f*ck no more. Ain’t nobody take sh*t [from me that night].”
Soulja Boy is breathing a lot more than relief these days.

After his a-list performance at the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards, many fans and celebs alike anticipating Soulja’s upcoming album DeAndre’s Way scheduled to hit stores November 30th

Soulja Boy Says He Shot Someone!

Soulja Boy has a song called “Shootout” and based on newly released excerpts from the rapper’s recent interview with Vibe Magazine, Soulja’s music ended up being a perfect example of life imitating art!

Soulja Boy covers the first ever digital issue of VIBE Magazine and in his feature, the 20-year-old entertainer talks about how he and his friends were involved in a shoot out at his home in Atlanta late last year. While they were in the studio recording, three thieves broke into his house and it all went down hill from there.

“I’m thinking if I shoot this nigga, I can get that gun and shoot all these niggas at the same time,” says Soulja. “So I jumped out, shot at the dude four times and missed. He ducked down and ran. He started yelling, so I shot him like two more times,” he recalls. “Then he turned around and started running. So I popped his ass like two more times in the back, and he hit the floor.

Eventually, all three robbers fled the crib. Looking back on the situation, Soulja says Interscope Records didn’t want him discussing the shooting because of his fan base. But now that he’s an adult, he no longer wants to hold back.

“I really didn’t want nobody to know that I shot somebody,” he says appearing relieved to finally get out his account. “My label [didn't] want that out there [because] when the robbery went down I had fans like 9, 10 years old. But being that I’m 20, I don’t give a fuck no more. Ain’t nobody take shit [from me that night].”

Although Soulja Boy makes a cameo in the video himself, he decided to respond to the allegations via Twitter:

“God knows I didn’t do that. That’s all that matters, you are nothing but humans. Pow.”

Although Soulja Boy denies the allegations, Fabolous took some time out to throw jabs at Soulja Boy on Twitter about the situation.
