Oprah’s “Next Chapter” Interview With Barbara Walters


Last week, Barbara Walter’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on ABC. The TV veterans discussed Oprah’s difficult childhood, favorite moments on her show, relationship with best friend Gayle King and partner Stedman Graham, and her OWN network, which will begin in January. Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney Receive 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Stars took to the Kennedy Center in celebration of the 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors ceremony in Washington, DC on Sunday (Dec 5).

The event takes place to honor five individuals who have spent most of their lives inspiring and enriching the cultural vibrancy of the nation. This year, Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney (the Beatles) were among the five chosen ones. President Barack Obama gave a speech with the honorees present at the East wing of the White House before they all headed to the Kennedy Center to join celebrity guests.

Chris Rock and his wife, No Doubt, Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson were some of the many that walked the red carpet. The event will be televised on CBS on December 28th.

Oprah Set To Star With Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep In New Film


Oprah Winfrey will be trading in her producer hat for an acting role soon. The media mogul has been confirmed to be a part of a new project by Michael Patrick King, the writer, producer, and director behind “Sex and the City.” It is being reported that the movie, also starring Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep, will focus on the lives of three women who work on a TV station similar to the Home Shopping Network. The script is still in the works and filming won’t begin at least for another year, but still exciting news as this will be Oprah’s first film since Beloved in 1998.
