Beyonce May Not Be Mentioned In Jay-Z’s Autobiography

Jay-Z will be releasing his autobiography “Decoded” on November 16.

The book mixes first-person memoir with detailed discussions of his most famous lyrics. It also included interviews with Jay-Z’s family and friends as well as the rapper, himself. Over its 336 pages, “Decoded” will trace Jay-Z’s life from his childhood in Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects to his years as a teen drug dealer to becoming a hip-hop superstar. The hardcover, illustrated book will also explore Jay-Z’s creative process.

However, “Decoded,” which he collaborated with The Source editor Dram Hampton to create, has been completed for several years. Jay-Z was simply hesitant about releasing it.

He told Rolling Stone in their June 2010 cover story of him,

“It’s too much. For the book, I was interviewed, people close to me were interviewed. So I was learning a lot of things I didn’t know as a child,” Jay-Z told RS. “It’s not anything I haven’t said in the past, in songs. It’s just more detailed. A song is three minutes long. A book doesn’t have to rhyme, and it has no time limit, so you can say exactly how everything went.”

Since Decoded was completed several years ago, it remains unclear whether the book will feature additional chapters detailing Jay-Z’s last few years, including The Blueprint 3, his 360 deal with Live Nation, being a part owner of the New Jersey Nets and, his most guarded subject, his marriage to BeyoncĂ©.

Jay-Z Falls Out With LeBron James

Jay-Z has ended his friendship with basketball star LeBron James after his controversial decision to move from Cleveland Cavaliers to Miami Heat, according to reports.

The hip hop mogul and co-ower of New Jersey Nets used to have a "close" relationship with the

NBA star but after his transfer announcement last month, Jigga wants nothing to do with him, according to Media Takeout.

A source said: "Jay-Z was supposed to be able to bring stars to [the New Jersey] Nets - or at least have access to them. [During the time that LeBron was making his decision] he didn't even take [Jay-Z's] calls. It made him look like he couldn't deliver to the Nets management.

"If [Jay-Z] would have landed a star player, he could have been seen as a legitimate asset to the team. Now they see him as just dead weight."

Do you think Jay-Z was wrong for assuming he could persuade James in the first instance?

NY Mayor Bloomberg shuts down Jay Z concert

Jay Z was scheduled to put on a surprise top secret concert during the taping of 'The Late Show with David Letterman' next Monday June 21, in the middle of rush hour traffic in midtown Manhattan. Due to the chaos caused by the concert Drake was not allowed to show up for Tuesday, Mayor Bloomberg has denied the permit for Jay Z's show.

Jay-Z Refuses to Release His Autobiography! He Feels Like He Talked Too Much… + His Other Rolling Stone Cover

Jay-Z has been working with writer Dream Hampton on an autobiography for over 4 years now. But now there’s a big problem: Hov refuses to release the book because he realized that he disclosed way too much information.

Jay is refusing to sign off on the autobiography because he says he doesn’t want fans to know too much about his personal life and his background. And he feels as though he’s already covered most of the information in the book on record, so he’s afraid of people reading into his past and digging deeper into his personal life.

“It’s too much. For the book, I was interviewed, people close to me were interviewed, so I was learning a lot of things I didn’t know as a child, he told Rolling Stone. “It’s not anything I haven’t said in the past, in songs. It’s just more detailed… You can say exactly how everything went.”

Hmm, we wonder what information was disclosed in that book. He claims that we’ve heard it on tracks, but if that TRULY was the case, there would be no problem in releasing the book. Right? Don’t be scared now Hovi!
