Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney Receive 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Stars took to the Kennedy Center in celebration of the 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors ceremony in Washington, DC on Sunday (Dec 5).

The event takes place to honor five individuals who have spent most of their lives inspiring and enriching the cultural vibrancy of the nation. This year, Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney (the Beatles) were among the five chosen ones. President Barack Obama gave a speech with the honorees present at the East wing of the White House before they all headed to the Kennedy Center to join celebrity guests.

Chris Rock and his wife, No Doubt, Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson were some of the many that walked the red carpet. The event will be televised on CBS on December 28th.
