The fourth man accusing Bishop Eddie Long of using his spiritual authority to coerce him into having a relationship that later turned sexual spoke with news reporters about the allegations from his home in Charlotte recently. Spencer LeGrande says that he had already told his family about his relationship with Bishop Long, however it wasn’t until recently that he found out about the other three men which prompted him to go public with his story.

“There’s only one way to God, and that’s the truth,” LeGrande, a former member of Long’s satellite church in Charlotte, NC said. “I wasn’t free until I came out with it. That’s when my life got much better. This last week has been free. … This is a hard time for the world and you know I have no hate for anyone, because God doesn’t produce hate. And I pray for everyone, especially Bishop … because he knows the truth. He knows the truth.”
