Black Eyed Pea's front man Will.i.am has slammed the rails against new Michael Jackson album plans which is likely to see the record released in November this year.
Will.i.am, who worked with the King of Pop on the Thriller re-release a few years ago says that it shouldn't be made public because Jackson wouldn't have wanted it that way.
The musician told Associated Press news agency: "How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain't here to bless it?"
As the pair worked together, will.i.am was very aware of Jackson's desire for perfection.
will.i.am said: "He was a perfectionist and he wouldn't have wanted it that way.

"I don't think that should ever come out. Now that he is not part of the process, what are they doing? Why would you put a record out like that? Because he was a friend of mine, I just think that's disrespectful.
"What's wrong with what he already contributed to the world?
The album is likely to be released by Sony in November (in time for Christmas!)
Michael Jackson's former manager has already revealed what the album will include in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine earlier this week. Frank DiLeo said there will be 10 never-heard-before tracks which were taken from at least 100 songs that are in Jackson's archive. He said: "There are a couple of songs we recorded for the Bad album that we had to cut that are just sensational."
