Terrell Owens Deserves a Job Despite Critics

So Mr. Terrell Owens is still unsigned. While on his VH1 reality show “The T.O. Show,” Owens said he is preparing for life after football. But Terrell, why so soon?

The man who's made headlines since 1996 whether for good or for bad has always been a productive player for his football teams on the field.

He’s had one season affected by injury—that was 2005 when he was a Philadelphia Eagle—but they still went to the Super Bowl. His “worst” full season came last year when he was a Buffalo Bill, where he had 55 receptions for 829 yards and only five touchdowns.

To be honest, that really wasn’t his fault because Buffalo doesn’t have the type of quarterback that Owens has had. He’s had Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo, and even Steve Young and although he’s always gotten into a headline-making argument with these guys, he has always produced.

Washed up? Who? Not Owens, who last season he was able to top the 1,000 career reception list (by the way there are only five other guys on that list: J. Rice, M. Harrison, C. Carter, T. Brown, and I. Bruce). Owens is still going and he loves the game of football.

Now, while the media might bash him and fantasy “experts” may not like him, no matter where Owens signs he will be a valuable asset to the team. Plenty of teams could use him, they are just “concerned” to sign him.

Concerned? About what, his age? Well, regardless of age Owens will always produce for a team and he’ll let you know about it. If and when he is signed, keep Owens on your fantasy radar. He may not be a go-to option anymore but he is one thing for sure: reliable.

Watch, read, and listen because Owens will still be going strong and deserves some type of credit for the Hall of Fame career he has had. He will still be a reliable fantasy source. Recently Owens's agent Drew Rosenhaus said teams interest in Owens is "heating up."
