President Barack Obama joined in with a song with Sir Paul McCartney at the White House after presenting the former member of the Beatles with an award.
Sir Paul McCartney was given America's highest musical award which is the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The event was held at the White House in Washington where other performers include Corinne Bailey Rae and Stevie Wonder.
President Obama said:"It's hard to believe that it's been nearly half a century since four lads from Liverpool landed on our shores and changed everything overnight."
The Beatles star said: "There could not be a greater place for my band and I to play. It is an incredible honour. Not only to receive this award but to perform in front of this President."
