Gosselin and her caravan of 8 children will be going camping with the former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

According to sources, Kate and the kids have embarked on a journey to Alaska to learn about America’s 49th state and to film an episode of Gosselin’s TLC reality show, “Kate Plus 8.” During their stay they will also be receiving a hands-on natural history lesson from Palin’s father Chuck Heath and brother Chuck Jr.
