Tuesday, June 8th was a big gay day. Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” video debuted, Xtina’s Bionic went on sale, and in L.A. about a zillion drag queens and celebs (and Paula Abdul) convened for Logo’s NewNowNext Awards (which will air on Thursday, June 17th at 9pm ET).

On the NNN Awards red carpet, several celebs sounded off about the “Alejandro” video, including Perez Hilton who quipped gayly “right now we’re at the Logo Awards and Logo is MTV’s sister gay channel and that video speaks to a gay audience explicitly and also it’s her talking and advocating for gays in the military … in a very ‘in your face’ kind of way.”

Oh, Gaga… Whatever you do, we gays are gonna stake our claim on it. Heh!
