We called it weeks ago, and now it has been officially confirmed that singer/songwriter Alicia Keys is now pregnant with she and her fiance Swizz Beatz‘ first child together! The couple’s rep confirmed the news earlier today and announced that the couple is not only expecting, but they are also to be married!
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been reporting on the suspicious baby bump Keys has been spotted with on several occasions. And now we know for sure that it wasn’t just a couple of late night burritos that caused the singer to pack on the extra pounds. According to the couple’s rep:
“The two are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year.”
Though this is Alicia’s first, this makes baby #2 for rapper/producer Swizz Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean), who has a 3-year-old son named after him from a previous marriage with singer Mashonda. Swizz Beatz and Mashonda finalized their divorce just earlier this month.
With all the drama surrounding their relationship, this has definitely been a rocky road for Alicia and Swizz, but since everything is out in the air now maybe they can finally live in peace. Or maybe they’ve crossed into dangerous territory way too soon and all chances for peace in the near future are lost, because you know folks are gonna have a field day with this one!!

This doesn’t sound too good! According to Live Nation, pop singer Christina Aguilera has put her upcoming 20-date North American summer tour on hold until next year. The tour was to support her new album Bionic, due in stores June 8th, and British Pop star Leona Lewis was going to be the opening act for all of the dates.
“Christina Aguilera’s summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments that the singer had made to her film ‘Burlesque’ and to the promotion of her new album ‘Bionic,’” according to a statement from Live Nation. “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible.”

The tour was set to kick off July 15th in Connecticut and end on August 19th in California, but a new round of dates will be announced later this year and current ticket-holders can get refunds wherever they bought their tickets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been receiving a lot of press ever since their sudden loss to the Boston Celtics, which knocked them out of the NBA play-offs. And it’s just amazing how the loss of a NBA basketball game could lead to so much turmoil! First, there were the rumors about Delonte West banging Lebron James‘ mom (the jury is still deciding a verdict on that one), and now Cleveland’s head coach Mike Brown has been terminated. Cavs owner Dan Gilbert declined on a decision to keep Brown and pay him his salary of $4.5 million for next season late Sunday night (May 23).
Brown’s dismissal comes at such a critical time for the Cavaliers because their superstar Lebron James will soon be a free agent with the option to shop around with other teams. So was this a strategical move? Apparently, but also a very risky one because if Lebron does decide to make the move and opt out of his contract, Cleveland will be left without their star player AND a coach. However according to Gilbert, a risk must be taken in order for the team to progress.
“The expectations of this organization are very high. Although change always carries an element of risk, there are times when that risk must be taken in an attempt to break through to new, higher levels of accomplishment. This is one of those times.”

Police say metal band Slipknot bassist Paul Gray has been found dead in a hotel room.
Police say a hotel employee found the 38-year-old Gray dead in a room Monday at the Town Plaza Hotel in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines. Foul play isn't suspected.
The Polk County Medical Examiner's Office plans an autopsy Tuesday.
Most of the band's members grew up in the Des Moines area.

A Polish priest accused of sexually abusing a former altar boy in Rio de Janeiro and turning his parish home into an "erotic dungeon" has surrendered and is now in police custody, a public safety official said Saturday.
State prosecutors have accused Marcin Michael Strachanowski of handcuffing the 16-year-old former altar boy to a bed three years ago in the parish house where the priest lived and threatening to kill the youth if he spoke of the abuse.
Strachanowski arrived at a police station Friday night, said a spokesman for Rio's state public security department. He spoke on condition of anonymity in keeping with departmental policy. Images published in Brazilian newspapers showed Strachanowski being driven away in a police car.
The 44-year-old priest was suspended from duties after the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro learned that a judge had issued an order Thursday for his arrest.
The archdiocese issued a statement Friday announcing the suspension and expressing regret over the alleged abuse.
Judge Alexandre Abrahao Dias said that investigators found "erotic material sent to the victim via Internet to seduce him" and that the priest also took other youths to the parish house, "which he converted into a kind of erotic dungeon where he submitted them, often with the use of handcuffs, to orgies."
Lawyers representing the priest did not immediately return a telephone message left Friday afternoon seeking comment. The phone number for the lawyers went unanswered on Saturday. The judge said that he was ordering the priest detained in part because he feared Strachanowski might try to flee from Brazil.
Church officials said that Strachanowski also faces a canonical legal process by an ecclesiastical tribunal, but they declined to provide additional information about the priest, such as how long he has been in Brazil or his work history with the Church.
The security department spokesman said the priest submitted a document in Polish as evidence that he is a college graduate, which could allow him to be kept in a lockup with better conditions than most Brazilian jails, which are severely overcrowded and dangerous because they are ruled by hardened gang members. The determination will be made by Brazilian education officials in conjunction with authorities.
Strachanowski's lawyers also have the option of trying to seek his release through the courts next week, the spokesman said.
Sex-abuse scandals involving the Roman Catholic Church have mushroomed around the world recently, and some of the accused priests have surfaced in Brazil, home to more Catholics than any other nation.
Late last month, prosecutors charged the Rev. Jose Afonso with abusing altar boys ranging in age from 12 to 16. Prosecutors said the alleged abuses took place in the city of Franca, in southeastern Sao Paulo state.
Also last month, 83-year-old Monsignor Luiz Marques Barbosa was detained in northeastern Brazil for alleged abuse of at least three boys after being caught on videotape having sex with a former altar boy who was an adult when the video was filmed. Barbosa is under house arrest while authorities investigate. Two other priests in the same archdiocese are also accused of abuses.

Mariah Carey and The Dream are being accused of theft!
A lawsuit was recently filed against the singers and record label Island Def Jam for copyright infringement over the single “My Love,” a duet from The-Dream’s last album Love vs. Money. According to Bay Area producers Preston Marshall and Demario Driver, The Dream and Mariah’s song sounds a lot like their song “Are You the One.”
“I sent the song to (Huffman) via email. I never heard back from him. (After hearing the song on The-Dream’s album) I was hurt because you put a lot of time and effort into this. You know, music is my life. I feed my family this way.”
The gentlemen are now seeking $450,000 in damages for copyright infringement, international interference with economic advancement and fraud. Neither Mariah, The-Dream nor Island Def Jam have spoken on these accusations yet.

Just when we thought rocker Bret Michaels was on the road to a speedy recovery after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show and setting dates for upcoming concerts, a whole new dilemma faces the reality TV star.
Michaels was sent back to the hospital today (Thurs. May 20) due to a small “warning” stroke that eventually led doctors to find out he has a hole in his heart!
Now, you may remember Bret having his own VH1 show to help mend his lonely heart, but it’s looking like things have gotten a bit more serious.
According to the rocker’s neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramski, Bret’s condition is not a matter to play with, but it’s treatable.
“There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family. The good news is that it is operable and treatable.”
The overnight condition comes not too long after Michaels was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage, which was also preceded by Michaels having to undergo an emergency appendectomy back in April. However this, like any other illness isn’t going to keep Bret down. Bret is reportedly eager to check out of the hospital, but the rocker is not ready just yet for his departure, even though he’s set to compete on the finale of “Celebrity 
Zabramski says that he’s well aware Michaels planned on attending the New York City finale and even getting back on the road to play concerts in the near future, but now adds: “Bret’s brain and body are not quite 100% yet, especially with the hole found in his heart. Further tests will be conducted throughout the week and I will have more information next week as to how this Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) will be treated. For now, Bret will be treated with outpatient care which includes a daily injection of Lovenox (a blood thinner to reduce the chance of blood clots) and blood tests.” Still, Zabramski says “it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered just a few weeks earlier.”
Bret’s rep Jann Elias also had a few words to say on behalf of his condition and sudden trip to the hospital:
“He’s in good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be okay. He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again.”

The video for the track, taken from the 16-year-old Pop singer’s highly successful sophomore album My World 2.0, was shot last week and Usher tweeted a pic of him and JB on the set (above). It’s unknown if they’ll use the remix or the original version of the song for the video, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Reports this week started swirling (once again) that AT&T is finally set to announce tethering for the iPhone. This comes after Apple released the latest beta build of its iPhone 4.0 software; buried in the software is the option to set up Internet tethering with AT&T via phone or Web.
Tethering would allow you to link a mobile phone such as the iPhone to a desktop or laptop, and to use the mobile device as a modem -- anywhere, anytime Internet access via the pervasive cellular network. But don't get too excited.
Mark Seigel, a spokesperson for AT&T, told me that tethering "is one of the options that we're considering, but we're not ready to announce anything yet." Seigel went on to say that speed and reliability of the network has always been the company's main concern, and providing the best possible customer experience is the top priority.
When I asked him about a tethering announcement to coincide with the release of the new iPhone in early June, Seigel just laughed. "What iPhone announcement?" he asked.
This isn't the first time that we've been teased with the promise of tethering by AT&T, of course. Last year, tethering was built into the iPhone 3.0 operating system as well, and AT&T never turned on the faucet due to network concerns.
Recently AT&T spent millions of dollars upgrading its network across the country, fixing dead zones and boasting greater reliability. One way to prove that is by finally letting us get our mits on tethering for the iPhone.

Crane was driving in July 1986 to join her parents for a family camping trip when Woodward used his log truck to force her to stop on Mississippi Highway 29 south of New Augusta, prosecutors said.
A jury found Woodward guilty of kidnapping and raping Crane, then shooting her to death.

Police find mummified bodies of 2 women, 3 men left in truck near Mexican border city
Wednesday stuffed in plastic bags in a pickup truck left near a highway in the northern Mexico state of Chihuahua.
State police said the bodies — apparently mummified by the desert climate — had not been identified.
The site where the truck was found is south of the violence-plagued border city of Ciudad Juarez, where the truck had been reported stolen.
University authorities in Ciudad Juarez also reported Wednesday that a freshman had been found dead, wrapped in a blanket at a local fairground.
Mexico was shocked when two university students in Monterrey were killed in the crossfire of a shootout between soldiers and gunmen in March.
Also Wednesday, authorities said about 88 tons (80 metric tons) of a precursor chemical used to make methamphetamines had been seized at the Pacific Coast seaport of Manzanillo.
The chemical ethyl phenyl acetate, also known as phenylacetic acid, can also be used in cocaine processing.
The navy said the chemical was found in five shipping containers sent from China to Manzanillo.
Drug traffickers have turned to phenylacetic acid since Mexico effectively banned imports of another precursor, pseudoephedrine.
A similar confiscation, reported at the time as the largest single seizure of its type, was reported by authorities at the same port earlier this month.

-of-three Kimora Lee Simmons says her relationship with actor Djimon Hounsou is “as official as it gets.”
Fox411.com’s Courtney Friel caught up with Simmons who played coy when asked if her recent commitment ceremony was a wedding.
“It’s whatever people call it, but that’s as official as it gets for me,” she said. “I was wearing white. There were rings and cakes and flowers and people crying. That’s as good as it gets for me. I don’t need anything extra.”
But one thing she was more than happy to discuss is her new line of affordable clothing, Kimora Kouture, where all items are $50 or less.
“People want to shop even in a recession,” Simmons said. “They want to look great, they want to feel great, but budgets are tight, jobs are getting cut, a lot of things are going on in the household, and people just don’t have a lot of expendable cash.”
Simmons said even she knows what it is like to feel the economic crunch, having had to fund her own business during tough times.
“You cannot be in a business like this for the money,” she tells Friel. “You may think you can, but you can’t. You have to do it from a passion, because there are dry seasons. There are times you invest your own money and your own sweat and tears and you really have to be dedicated to what you do.”
Simmons also says she is dedicated to providing fashion for real women.
“The average woman wears double digits [sizes],” she said. “I always say that ... size two or size zero, I don’t subscribe to that philosophy”
It's shaping up into a classic case of "she said, she said."
Celebrity photographer Indrani told the New York Post that she and wild child Lindsay Lohan were an item.
The paper cited sources saying the two had been on a several dates and that Indrani had spent the night at Lohan's hotel.
It also talked to Indrani.
"We have been spending a lot of time together. I have never had a relationship with a woman before, but Lindsay is just somebody who I find fascinating, gorgeous and extremely smart, as well as super-hot," Indrani told the paper
