The Trey Songz’s expanding ego erupted once again during a recent interview on 100.3 The Beat. The ‘Bottoms Up’ singer got defensive when the radio show’s host, Boogie D, commented about the negative attitude that Songz portrayed in his BET reality show, ‘Trey Songz: My Moment’. Check out all the action below:
Although Songz was honest about his views, it is blatantly apparent that he does not understand the importance of likability when dealing with the media. No matter how talented he considers himself to be as an artist, consumers have to like him if he wants them to join his developing fanbase. Furthermore, the last thing Songz should do is upset members of the media because he needs the support of the DJs so that his records will receive airplay
Regardless of what Boogie D said during that interview Songz should have been happy that at least 1 person has been watching his show. The last time I checked, most people either don’t know that the show exists or they change the channel when they realise that it’s not a rerun of ‘Tiny & Toya’.
