The tennis star, has recently been ranked as top seed for the US Open 2010 despite recently undergoing surgery on her foot.

Williams is currently resting, having tweeted yesterdat: "5th day in bed. arghhhh butt is so sore from laying on it!! lol u would think i would have tons of cushion!! lol". Things should be a little more interesting with her ex knocking about...

Her agent, Jill Smoller, has said that Williams is still hoping to compete in the American competition, she told Associated Press: "Right now, we're taking it a day at a time. She's resting and recovering. She's a fast healer."
