Add Nicki Minaj to the growing list of celebs who have made a sex tape. An alleged Nicki Minaj sex tape is on its way, amid months of speculation after a leaked photo found it’s way onto the internet. The flick features a topless woman, resembling Minaj, with her signature jet black wig and bangs.

The folks over at Mediatakeout.com reportedly screened the tape, which is being shopped for $100,000.

No word as yet from Nicki on the tape.

Tracy Morgan Recovering From Kidney Transplant

“30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan underwent a kidney transplant on or around December 10th, according to reports.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the surgery was successful, but Morgan will miss at least two episodes of the popular NBC sitcom.

“30 Rock” writers, who have written Morgan’s battle with diabetes into scripts in the past, have said that they will address Morgan’s absence on the show by saying that “he has some sort of a meltdown because of a good thing that’s happened to him.”

Tracy Morgan is the second “30 Rock” cast member to undergo a kidney transplant. Co-star Grizz Chapman had a kidney transplant earlier this year.

Ciroc and champagne on deck. Fabolous said F the cups, “bottoms up” on his champagne! LOL.

Aretha Franklin Speaks Out After Successful Surgery

It has been widely reported that music legend Aretha Franklin was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The news of her illness came after she canceled all of her upcoming shows and rumors of her being hospitalized surfaced. But for the first time since her sickness, Aretha spoke out, saying that she is doing fine and resting at home while her family cares for her:

“I feel great. The doctors say I can do whatever I feel like I am up to do. Of course, that doesn’t mean any concerts or anything like that, but I can do things around the house and today I am just piddling around the house.”

“I am putting Aretha together first. We will put Ree Ree together first. This is Aretha time to do whatever it is that I need to do, but I will talk more later.”

“I might not remember everyone’s name right this moment, but please, I want them [to] know I appreciate their prayers. My family has been with me every step of the way. I couldn’t have done it without them, that’s for sure.”

Gucci Mane Arrested In Waka Flocka Flame House Raid

Waka Flocka’s mother, Deb Antney has clarified the situation, saying that Gucci Mane was not arrested, but only questioned by police. There is also no confirmation that weapons or marijuana were found during the raid.

Police raided Waka Flocka Flame‘s house in Georgia. Police reportedly were looking for evidence of drugs, prostitution, and gangs, based off of an alleged tip. During the raid they found marijuana, weapons, and Waka’s close friend and fellow rapper Gucci Mane was detained. Waka wasn’t home at the time of the raid, but police will issue a warrant for his arrest if he doesn’t submit for questioning soon.

Sammie: “I Feel Usher Has Set The Blueprint For Longevity”

Since the hit single with Soulja Boy “Kiss Me Through The Phone” Sammie has been back in the public eye. After the success of It’s Just A Mixtape 1 the fans were in a frenzy for part 2. While working on his new album for Interscope Records Coming Of Age he recorded “It’s Just A Mixtape 2″ to keep his fans satisfied until the full-length album was ready.

Sammie Lee Bush, Jr. was born on March 1, 1987 in Boynton Beach, Fla and at the age of seven, Sammie’s family moved from Delray Beach, Fla. to Miami and attended Charles Drew Elementary where he was in the magnet program. In addition to academics, Sammie was also in chorus. With a voice beyond his age, Wanda Williams, the chorus instructor, invited Sammie to join an all male group called “Wonder 3.” The group never progressed which lead to Sammie appearing on The Apollo as a solo act at the age of 12. Sammie made it to the final round and was discovered by Joyce Irby, former co-lead vocalist of the 1980s all-girl group “Klymaxx” and became his manager.

She introduced him to grammy award winning producer Dallas Austin in the summer of 1999. Austin signed 12-year-old Sammie to Freeworld Entertainment label under Capitol Records. Within three months, Sammie recorded and released Platinum-selling album entitled “From the Bottom to the Top,” which included two Top 10 hits, “I Like It” and “Crazy Things I Do.” After a successful debut, Sammie took a break from music to continue his education. Seems that R&B singer Sammie need some space.

Sammie took a break from recording to fill in the blanks for the readers of TheUrbanDaily.

The beginning

I started singing in the church with my family, my Mother and sister both have beautiful voices. I think my sister may be doper than myself, I guess it’s in my blood. I was raised listening to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Usher. I was shy as a kid but loved singing in front of a crowd of hundreds of thousands of people.

Starting out at 12

I got signed when I was 12 years old. I performed at the Apollo theater in New York City and was discovered by Joyce Irby and Dallas Austin, which was a blessing. Since the age of 8 this is something I decided I wanted to do professionally and four years later my dreams came true. I was happy to be doing something that I genuinely enjoyed doing, it was effortless for me. I enjoyed getting the love from the girls and all the fans. I was humbled by it.

The Pressure of being a child Star

When I was working my first project “From The Bottom To The Top” which went certified platinum when I was 13, there was no pressure for me. I was so young and wasn’t business oriented, I didn’t have a clue of the position I was in until I got older and looked back on my accomplishments. I think the pressure comes now for myself, the Bow Wows or the Omarions and even Mario who came in the game at a young age to reinvent ourselves and remain relevant.
Taking time off

Success happened so fast for me and my entire life changed. I was still in public school so I would be in school Monday through Wednesday and Thursday through Sunday. I would tour around the world and doing that for two years it became frustrating trying to live up to the star status and keeping up with a sense of normalcy when your at home. There was also a disagreement between an individual and my management at the time that somehow could not be resolved. That caused the stop on the Sammie project. It was a combination of wanting to maintain a normal life and a disagreement that had nothing to do with me.

Being the underdog and having to prove himself

I think everything matters and anytime you re-introduce yourself to the world you have to prove yourself. If you take a look at acts who once sold 150,000 the first week are now selling 20,000. I don’t think you can ever get comfortable because you went platinum, you should work harder and out do yourself every time because there is always someone there to take your spot. I do feel like I have to prove myself but that just who I am. I have always been the underdog so I’m never content and I went platinum at a time when they said a child act couldn’t do it.

Usher being a big influence & his fav artist

Usher is definitely my favorite artist and I watched Usher grow up from a boy to a man and have a long career since he started in the game at 13. I feel Usher has set the blueprint to follow on having longevity. I remember during “Here I Stand” when he got married and had kids things got rough for him but he still bounced back with this project. I feel he showed us that even if you have a set back there is a chance you can bounce back.

Sammie Youth Foundation

That’s my baby, we about to celebrate our one year anniversary. The Sammie youth foundation is where I go into different schools in the community and speak to the kids on education and music and it changed my life. I would like to thank Josh and Mr. Mitchell for putting that together and making my dreams come true. I wanted to touch the kids life by leaving them with something positive and letting them know that there is hope.

Bullying & Haters

I have been speaking out against bullying and haters at a few high schools. I feel like the bullying and hating is at an all time high. I have been trying to get the message across that you don’t have to put others down because of your own insecurities. I always say Haters are fans that have issues expressing themselves.

Blogs and Press

I feel people have the right to their own opinion and with the Internet being so powerful it’s easy to sit on a computer and voice your opinion and say negative comments, you just have to deal with it. I been dealing with it since I was 12 years old and it just helps me get better. If the media say you gone flop, create a hit record and win. As long as you are winning haters are gonna talk

Real R&B

Usher made a statement in VIBE magazine that I was humbled by. He stated that we are in a dying industry so he supports the Sammies, Chris Browns and Trey Songz. I think it’s up to our generation to do timeless music and connect with the people. I think the problem with our generation is, we are not concentrating on the lyrics of the song any more but just a catchy hook and beat. It’s what the executives are force feeding us.

Signing with Interscope records

When I came back in 2006 I reunited with Dallas Austin on Rowdy. My situation over there was independent and when I was released in 2008, I felt I needed the machine behind me. I just started working real hard. The single “Kiss Me Through The Phone” with Soulja Boy took over the world for the summer 2009 and executives started looking at Sammie again. I had options like Atlantic, Warner and Def Jam that I didn’t have in a long time. I chose Interscope because I thought it would be a good home for me.

New Album “Coming of Age” & Collaborations

The sound will be Sammie. I co-wrote my sophomore album. I am not just a singer but a writer. I also do my own vocal arrangements. I took my vocals to another level. I’m still a student of the game, I take something from everyone I work with. “Coming Of Age” is a solid album that you will be able to listen to track 1 to the end. The album will be coming soon, we’re just looking for that record that is gone reach the masses. I’m going in with Rick Ross, being originally from Miami I love the buzz that Ross got going on out there. I also reached out to the beautiful Nicki Minaj and did a song with her that was basically about her. I did a island influenced record with Akon as well and the rest is just me.

I feel like you got to flood the fans with quality music because sometime people get lost in the shuffle of the industry being so over saturated. You go away for just six months and that can happen. You have to give the fans something they can sit on until the official project release. When I notice I can get 200-300k downloads on a mixtape in a short amount of time I said this is my thing. Its funny because there are artist who have millions of followers and sell 30k so there has to be a disconnect somewhere so you have to figure out where the disconnect is. After undergoing surgery for an undisclosed ailment earlier this month, Aretha Franklin, was discharged from a Detroit hospital earlier this week, according to a statement released Wednesday.

“I’ve been at home for almost three days now,” says Franklin, 68, in the statement. “My family and friends who brought me home are taking great care of me. I also have a private nurse who visits on a daily basis.”

The singer’s cousin Brenda Corbett told the Detroit Free Press, Aretha “has a long life in front of her and will be back in concert, on stage, late spring or early summer,”

An Atlanta man is claiming that the money rapper 50 Cent earned off the hit, “I Get Money” is rightfully his.Tyrone “Caliber” Simmons, 28, claims he purchased an exclusive license for all the rights to use, record, publish, re-produce and perform the “I Get Money” instrumental beat, which was produced by William “Apex” Stanberry.

Simmons filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York claiming that 50 Cent, Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit and Shady Records knowingly infringed upon his ownership rights.“The misappropriation of copyright-protected material is an endemic problem in the music business, and particularly in the genre of hip-hop/rap This is one such case,” says Louis D. Tambaro, an attorney at Red Bank, N.J.-based Marks & Klein, LLP, one of the firms representing Simmons.“Our client was granted exclusive rights to the ‘I Get Money’ instrumental and was unceremoniously cut out of the loop when the defendants realized they had a huge hit on their hands.”

Stem Cell Transplant Cures HIV In German Man

Doctors in Germany believe they’ve made a pivotal medical break-through and are announcing that they’ve cured a man of HIV/AIDS.

Timothy Ray Brown, also known as the “Berlin Patient,” received a stem cell transplant in 2007 as part of a lengthy treatment course for leukemia.

Now the doctors who treated Brown have published a report in medical journal “The Blood” affirming that extensive follow-up testing “strongly suggest that cure of HIV infection has been achieved.”

Brown is the first person to ever be declared cured of HIV, and is pushing science to further the sometimes-controversial study of stem cells.

Brown, who previously stayed out of the spotlight, will cover the next issue of Stern Magazine under the headline, “The Man Who Defeated The HIV.”

Music News: Janet Jackson Announces Tour Start Date And City

Last month Janet Jackson broke news that she will be going on her biggest world tour, where she will perform classics from her Number Ones album. In the video announcement, she stated that fans will be the ones picking the cities the tour will make stops in. True to her word, Ms. Jackson let it be known that her fans have chosen Hong Kong, China as the first stop of the global tour, starting on February 14, 2011.

Fans can still suggest cities for the tour by visiting Janet’s official website. Tickets for the Hong Kong show go on sale this coming Tuesday, December 14.

Lionel Richie’s House Gets Prepared for Daughter Nicole’s Wedding

It looks like singer Lionel Richie’s mansion may be the venue for daughter Nicole Richie and fiance Joel Madden’s wedding, which is rumored to be this coming weekend. Images of tents and other temporary structures around the Beverly Hills estate have surfaced.

According to the Daily Mail, a large marquee has been erected at the back door of the house, while workmen are busy building other structures in the garden.
And to ensure guests are able to avoid any photographers, a covered walkway has also been erected.

RadarOnline.com reports a stage was built on top of the pool in the backyard so guests can have more space to dance.

Richie and Madden are expecting around 75 family members and close friends at the wedding ceremony. Richie’s maid of honor is expected to be best friend Masha Gordon. There’s been no word if ex-BFF Paris Hilton has been invited to the nuptials.

Richie, 29, and Madden, 31, have been together since 2006. They announced their engagement earlier this year. The pair have two children, two-year-old daughter Harlow and one-year-old son Sparrow.

Richie is best known for her role in the reality show ‘The Simple Life’ and has found success recently with her fashion line, House of Harlow. Madden is the lead vocalist for the band Good Charlotte.

Soulja Boy Says He Spent $3 Million On Gold Jewelry, Sells Only 13,000 Copies Of ‘The DeAndre Way’ Album

Soulja Boy is known for his often off-the wall jewelry collection and according to the SODMG head, he recently spent as much as $3 million on gold alone.

The rapper sat down for an interview with MTV’s RapFixwhere he revealed the extravagant amount he spent on neckwear.

“Gold is the best thing going, all the people that’s watching, honestly … all of my jewelry together … gold is where it’s at.”

The 20-year-old that was previously robbed at gunpoint in his Atlanta home also spoke on how he keeps his jewelry safe.

“It’s in a safe deposit bank in Soulja Bank over in Japan that you never heard of,”Soulja joked.

“Nah, it’s heavily secured though, ya feel me?…I keep my jewelry locked up, I keep it on watch. Whenever I select a piece … I put everything else up.”

Unfortunately Soulja’s poor album sales may keep him from buying another $3 million dollars worth of bling.

Billboard reports that the rapper with over 2.5 million Twitter followers sold 13,000 copies of his DeAndre Wayalbum.

The album features his singles “Pretty Boy Swag” and “Speakers Going Hammer.”

Young Jeezy’s Manager Denies Arrest Claims: “It’s Simply Not True”

Rapper Young Jeezy’s manager is speaking out about the reports that Jeezy was arrested in he Bahamas last weekend.

According to MTV News, Young Jeezy’s manager, Demetrius Ellerbee, the reports of Jeezy’s arrest in New Providence are “not true.”

As previously reported, Bahamas-based newspaper The Tribune claimed Jeezy was booked before a show in Fox Hills on the island.

According to reports, the rapper was simply “in the wrong place at the wrong time” when he was arrested and released, just before his performance at Club Luna, later that evening.

As of press time, Police in the Bahamas have yet-to-reveal any further details about the alleged arrest.

Lebron James’ move from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat means that the NBA star needed a new house to call home.

The Miami Herald reports that Lebron just purchased a $9 million mansion in the Coconut Grove area of Miami that overlooks the Biscayne Bay.

The house’s six bedrooms all have views of the ocean. The three-story, 12,000 square foot home also has 8.5 bathrooms situated on a 20,000 square foot lot with access to a dock big enough to accommodate two large yachts.

In 2004 I wanted to expand our retail division into luxury. Today, our luxury division comprises of over 40 stores in the Gulf, representing brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Hermès, Balenciaga, Chloé and Roberto Cavalli. We have also developed two Saks Fifth Avenue department stores, one in Dubai and the other in Bahrain, with plans to open more.

How did you pick your career path:
I spent many years growing up in London where I developed an early love of fashion and remember applying for a job at every fashion boutique on the Kings Road. At 14 I finally found a weekend job at a multi-brand store. I really enjoyed it andbegan to acquire an insight into the world ofretail that would prove crucial for my career.

Who is your career role model:

Promoter Of Nicki Minaj Concert Defends Expensive Event

The promoter of a controversial Nicki Minaj concert in Trinidad has spoken out in defense of the pricey concert, which caused friction between members of the government earlier this week.

Promoter Daryl Braxton and his independent, Trinidad-based record label D Project Records brought Nicki Minaj over for the concert, which took place on October 8th.

The concert draw condemnation from Diego Martin`s Central MP Amery Browne, who called for an audit of the event, which totaled $825,000 including $382,000 to Nicki and her entourage.

“People need to understand that the ‘Rep Your Colors/Localize Itt’ concert was not about packing the stadium and making a million dollars for ourselves,” D Project Records’ CEO Daryl Braxton said.

“It was a strategic investment in ourselves and our talent,” Braxton added. “Like her or not, Nicki Minaj is ours and not because we claimed her, but because she claimed us as her own! The fact that she’s currently at the top of her game makes it even sweeter.”

Tiny Talks Communicating With T.I. In Jail

T.I.’s wife Tiny is continuing to hold him down with interviews and promotion for his new album No Mercy.

As previously reported, Tip’s latest project hit stores Tuesday while the Grand Hustle head remained behind bars for probation violation.

On Wednesday Tiny took to V-103 Atlanta as a guest on the “Ryan Cameron Show” to speak on the King’s latest project and assure fans that he was in good spirits.

She tells hosts Ryan Cameron and Rashan Ali,

“He’s doing pretty good…I think he’s excited about the album coming out.”’

Tiny also adds that the happy couple talk at least twice a day and are allowed to send and receive emails.

“He calls about twice a day and we email throughout the day…He can’t go on the internet and look at websites, he can only email people that are on his list…it takes an hour to get there and an hour to get back.”

Willow Smith Is Already Frustrated With Being A Star

Ten year old Willow Smith became a star overnight thanks to her incredibly infectious single “Whip My Hair.”

Rick Ross Responds To Grammy Snub

Although Rick Ross received no Grammy nominations, the Miami rapper holds no ill will towards the RIAA.

The rapper, whose Teflon Don hit gold sales, told MTV News that he’s pleased with the accomplishments this year and congratulated his peers.

“Everybody that was nominated this year for the Grammys, I congratulate them, and I feel like everyone deserve it,” Ross said. “As far as me, I feel like it’s just something else for me to work towards, you know, if that’s something that I’m really, really trying to achieve.”

He continued, “Other than that, I had a wonderful year and I really couldn’t ask for no more.”
Ross hit the streets in a major way with big records like “B.M.F.” and “MC Hammer” along with commercial songs such as “Aston Martin Music.” He’s also received numerous other artistic accolades.

Alicia Keys & Hubby Swizz Beatz Adopt South African Village

Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz are giving back…the couple have adopted a village in Soweto, South Africa.

In an interview with VladTV.com, Swizz explained, “We adopted…Suweto. We went there…just to film the process of a particular lady and her daughter. She’s a beautiful lady with a beautiful spirit. She’s HIV positive. We were filming the before-and-after effect of taking [certain] medications.”

The couple set up a meeting with the local government, which granted them approval to purchase containers, ultimately allowing residents access to heat and hot water. They have also started an education program for the men in Soweto in hopes that it will help them get jobs and build their village. Of the Soweto people, Beatz added, “Instead of being mad, disgruntled, ignorant [about their economic disadvantages], their vibe was like, super-Zen.”

Bizarre : DUI Suspect Says He’s Blind

An Oklahoma man tried to avoid DUI charges by claiming he can’t see. According to NewsOn6.com, Bartesville resident Mark Watson was arrested early Monday morning after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run. While being questioned by police, Watson reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test saying, quote, “I ain’t taking no tests. I’m drunk. I’m blind anyways and I can’t drive.” Watson was subsequently arrested after he allegedly kicked an officer. Things only got worse for the 41-year-old, as he reportedly showed up drunk to his court appearance. Watson is now facing numerous charges including DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and assault on a police officer.

Floyd Mayweather has been charged with criminal battery in Nevada for allegedly — and this is serious — poking a man in the cheekbone with his finger.

TMZ has obtained the criminal complaint — in which cops say a private security officer named Shayne Smith told officers Mayweather went ballistic outside of his Las Vegas home on November 15 after Smith placed parking citations on two of Floyd’s cars.

According to the documents, Smith alleges Mayweather screamed that the guard had “no f*cking business” touching his personal property — before the boxer grabbed a citation from one of his cars and slapped it on Smith’s patrol vehicle.

The document continues, “While lambasting Smith, Mayweather was allegedly jabbing his finger into the left side of Smith’s cheek just below his eye. This willful and unlawful use of force and violence upon Smith caused redness and discoloration to the area which was battered by Mayweather.”

Smith claims he drove out of the area to “de-escalate” the situation, immediately notified his boss … and then took photos of his bruised up cheek.

So far, no comment from Floyd’s camp.

An Argument Over a Game of Dominoes Ends in Violence

Two people ended up shot and hospitalized Sunday night after a game of dominoes went way too far. One of them was a woman who happened to lived next door, and had absolutely nothing to do with the incident. (Huh???) Read the full story below:

An argument over a game of dominoes might have led to the shooting of two people Sunday evening in Auburn. A 23-year-old Auburn man is in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a gunshot wound to his cheek, Auburn police spokesman Sgt. Dave Colglazier said today. He said the injury to the man was not life threatening.

A 48-year-old woman who lives next door to the man was shot in an upper shoulder and taken to Auburn Regional Medical Center. She was in her home when a bullet came through the wall from the duplex next door where the other man was shot, he said. Colglazier said the injury to the woman was not life threatening.

Police are looking for a 23-year-old Auburn man in connection with the shootings. Police have arrested another man for rendering criminal assistance after he accompanied the suspect in the shooting back to the duplex in the 1100 block of B Street Southeast following a fight there. Colglazier said police received a 911 call about the shooting at 7:13 p.m.

When they got to the duplex, police found out friends had left to take the man who had been shot to a hospital. On their way to the hospital, the friends flagged down a medic unit from Valley Regional Fire Authority for help. Medics treated the man and then took him to Harborview.

Colglazier said the two men apparently were playing dominoes in the duplex when an argument erupted that then turned physical. After the fight, the suspect left the duplex and returned with a friend. Then shots were fired, he said.

T.I. Gets Emotional In Latest Letter From Jail, Drops New Album “No Mercy”

T.I. releases his latest letter from the jailhouse through his website, Trapmuzik.com in support of new album No Mercy which hit stores today.

Similair to Lil’ Wayne’s Weezy Thanx You, fans are able to keep up with T.I.P and stay updated on his letters. In this installment the southern king gets emotional, and gives a special thanks to his supporters.

“So here it is…NO MERCY, the most honest and intimate installment of my life story as promised. Hope y’all enjoy it and it lives up to the very high standards I’ve set for myself or anyone who’s to be considered one of the best.”

T.I.P confesses the difficulty in the situation he’s facing, but he lets us know that he’s growing from it all.

“I must admit it takes a lot to go through as much as I have and still keep the love in your heart and in your art. But at the end of the day, if that’s what it takes to produce the music that keeps the world of Hip-Hop evolving on it’s axis….Then even the lowest of the lows of my life was all worth it.

Thanks again for your prayers, your time and attention. And remember….It does’nt matter how long it’ll be before the next time you see me. What matters is that I’ll be a better man before that time comes. The longer I sit, the smarter I get.”

Elizabeth Edwards Dies After Battle with Cancer

Elizabeth Edwards has died following a long battle with cancer, multiple sources are now confirming. Edwards, a best-selling author, was most known as the driving force behind her estranged husband John Edwards‘ political career back in the mid 2000’s and stood by him when infidelity rumors erupted.

“Today we have lost the comfort of Elizabeth’s presence but she remains the heart of this family. We love her and will never know anyone more inspiring or full of life,” the family said in a statement.

Elizabeth Edwards was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and was treated in the same year, however her condition worsened in 2007 when it returned and spread to other parts of her body. Edwards was the author of two best-selling books, one about her long battle with cancer, and the other, about the infidelity scandal surrounding her husband, North Carolina Senator John Edwards.

Elizabeth and John, who served as John Kerry’s running mate in the 2004 presidential elections and ran for himself in 2008, separated earlier this year, less than a week after Edwards admitted that he had fathered a 2-year-old child with a campaign aide named Rielle Hunter.

Elizabeth Edwards was 61 years old.

Stars took to the Kennedy Center in celebration of the 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors ceremony in Washington, DC on Sunday (Dec 5).

The event takes place to honor five individuals who have spent most of their lives inspiring and enriching the cultural vibrancy of the nation. This year, Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney (the Beatles) were among the five chosen ones. President Barack Obama gave a speech with the honorees present at the East wing of the White House before they all headed to the Kennedy Center to join celebrity guests.

Chris Rock and his wife, No Doubt, Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson were some of the many that walked the red carpet. The event will be televised on CBS on December 28th.

George Bush Jr. may have gotten Kanye West to say sorry, but if the former president of the United Stated is looking for the former president of Def Jam to throw him a pity party, he might not want to hold his breath.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press regarding his book Decoded, Jay-Z made it clear that he totally agrees with Kanye’s original sentiment that, ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people’, saying,

“I 100 percent agreed with the comments that he made, because again … it felt like it was being done to Black people,” Jay-Z tells the AP. “Like all you saw on the news was Black people with help signs and all this stuff, and then you have this picture of the commander in chief, who we all rely on, just flying by.”

Kanye West recently backed away from the comments, after George Bush Jr. categorized the statement as the lowest point of his eight-year presidency in his new book, Decision Points.

Jay- Z says that if Bush Jr. thinks West’s statement was the lowest of the lows then he has his priorities wrong,

“Just the fact that he thinks that the worst thing that happened to him is Kanye saying something about him. Like, what? That alone shows you where his mind is. Are you kidding me?” says Jay-Z .

Though he said nothing when the incident happened, Bush Jr. finally replied to West’s infamous remarks earlier this year during a promotional tour for his memoirs, Decision Points, which hit shelves November 9.

‘Ye later back down from his post Katrina statement saying, “I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist.”

Ye’s retraction caused a stir to many in the hip-hop community who felt that West should have stuck by his initial statements about the former president, including Pusha T and Ed Lover.

In the latest issue of The Source magazine Rick Ross responds to his labelmate Christette Michele denouncing his behavior at the Soul Train Awards.

When Ross lost out to Eminem for Rap Album of the Year he was seen storming out of the venue and did not perform as scheduled.

The next day Chrisette went to her blog and said that his behavior was childish. “Hip Hop… Man up. I wanted to be supportive but I can’t understand you. I believed in you… But apparently you’re so high you can’t even see what the world needs,” she wrote.

Well, it sounds like Ross got his feelings hurt but doesn’t want to burn the bridge completely with his frequent collaborator.

“I haven’t spoken to Chrisette Michele or her team,” Ross told The Source. “But I didn’t speak to her to [invite her to] the show either. It was something maybe the label set up. School District Superintendent “Accidentally” Sends Naked Picture to Board of Education Member

A New Jersey school district superintendent accidentally forwarded a photo of a naked woman to a member of the Board of Education. But that’s not all……the phone he sent it from was a district-issued BlackBerry. (What a dumba$$!!)

GARFIELD — A Board of Education member wants action taken against the superintendent of schools after receiving a sexually explicit image from his district-issued BlackBerry. The superintendent says it was all a mistake.

Dr. Donna M. Koch, a physician, said she was shocked to receive a photo of a naked woman sent to her in June by the superintendent, Nicholas Perrapato.

Perrapato said it was all an embarrassing mistake. He was trying to delete the message after receiving it when he accidentally pushed the speed-dial button that sent it to Koch, said Perrapato’s lawyer, Patrick English of Clifton.

“He got an inappropriate e-mail from an outside source and inadvertently, in attempting to delete it, he pushed the speed-dial button and sent it to Donna Koch,” English said.

Perrapato, 63, has been an educator for 42 years and never had anything like this come up before, the lawyer said. In an Oct. 8 letter to the Board of Education, Perrapato said he immediately realized he had made a mistake and called Koch to explain. The next day, he showed up at her family medical practice on Passaic Street to apologize, his letter states.

Koch, 38, was not convinced by any of the apologies. “I believe it was for me,” she said. “I’m a woman, a new mom, a professional, and he was trying to intimidate me.” Board member Nick Milevski also scoffs at the notion that the superintendent made a slip of his fingers.

“It’s impossible that it’s a mistake,” Milevski said. “I’m computer-literate, and I know what it takes to send and delete from a BlackBerry.” Even if it was unintentional, Koch said, Perrapato’s BlackBerry is school district property. “If that’s the type of thing he’s into, he should use his personal phone for it,” she said

Koch filed a complaint against Perrapato with the state school ethics commission, the Garfield police, the Bergen County superintendent of schools and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. The ethics commission said the incident violated no statute. The police recommended that she file criminal charges. The county superintendent didn’t respond, and the prosecutor’s office said the police should investigate, she said.

Koch said that in frustration, she went public. “I’m looking to report it to the Attorney General’s Office as well as Governor Christie,” she said. Perrapato’s lawyer asserts that Koch came forward only because the superintendent filed ethics charges against her for questionable actions as a board member.

The superintendent alleges that five board members, including Koch, tried to influence the appointment of staff members, which violates state statutes. “What’s really going on is, she’s attempting to harass him,” English said. “The real problem is that the board members are acting inappropriately.”

Koch, who is serving her first term, said that before her election the board was a clique that rarely opposed the superintendent’s will. “He wasn’t happy when I was running for the board and won,” she said. His ethics charges are frivolous and designed to shift attention from his behavior, Koch said.

Wesley Snipes Ordered to Begin 3-Year Prison Sentence Next Week!

A judge has ordered Wesley Snipes to voluntarily surrender at a federal prison in Pennsylvania next week to begin his 3-year prison sentence for tax evasion charges. The “Blade” actor, on bail since his 2008 conviction, was ordered by the U.S. Marshal’s Office to report to the Federal Correctional Institution McKean in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania no later than 12:00 pm next Thursday (Dec 9).

In April 2008, a Florida judge sentenced Snipes to three years in prison for willfully failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004 on a reported $38 million income, which was generated from Snipes’ movie appearances in “Blade II,” “The Art of War” and “Blade: Trinity.” Federal prosecutors said that the actor escaped paying more than $15 million in income tax returns by sending money to overseas accounts at the advice of delinquent tax advisers.

Snipes’ lawyers argue that their client was unfairly convicted, and a new trial should be granted due to testimony from Kenneth Starr, a former celebrity financial adviser who has admitted to cheating wealthy and elderly clients out of tens of millions of dollars. A judge, however, rejected those arguments, and said that “the defendant Snipes had a fair trial; he has had a full, fair and thorough review of his conviction and sentence. … The time has come for the judgment to be enforced.”

We guess Blade has run out of options!

Aretha Franklin says that she’s thankful for prayers from well-wishers in a statement released Thursday (Dec 2) following a recent “highly successful” emergency surgery. The statement, however, didn’t mention why she needed surgery.

“God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country,” the statement read.

Last month, Aretha Franklin announced that she was canceling all upcoming concert dates and appearances through May, per doctor’s orders. That particular announcement came after Franklin briefly paid a visit to a Detroit hospital, though no details were given about her condition at the time.

Janice Dickinson is going through a tough time right now…

The former supermodel admitted to contemplating suicide on Wednesday’s (Dec 1) season 4 premiere of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”.

“I’m having thoughts of suicide. I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to … end.”

Dickinson also revealed to her counselor that she’s ashamed for recently taking a drink after being sober for years. As words of encouragement, he told her this is the toughest fight of her live and it’s not going to be easy.

“You’re going through the toughest part of your life right now, the fight for your life. And you’re doing it. It’s a fight for our lives. It’s not easy.”

The nominations for the 53rd Grammy Awards were announced yesterday and some of R&B and Hip Hop’s biggest stars were nominated. Eminem takes the title with 10 nominations, Jay Z with 6, John Legend has 5, and Rihanna and Drake with 4 each. Above, Monica, who is nominated for Best R&B Album and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, shared with MTV News what it was like to be nominated for the first time since 1999.

Britney Spears Denies Boyfriend Beating

To those of you who may have wondered if Britney Spears was calling Rihanna for advice, fret not. The story about her being beat up by her boyfriend/ex-manager has proven to be false.

Star magazine claimed they had photographic evidence along with audio of Britney saying telling her ex-husband that she was beaten up by her man.

Her reps deny this and now say they’re playing legal action.

Rudolph said Britney’s camp is already planning legal action against the rumormongers, something corroborated by Andrew Wallet, one of Spears’ conservators.

Britney’s website followed up, calling every aspect of the Star story “completely and utterly false.”

“The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years,” the site read. “The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable.

“Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney. This is just another example of the irresponsible nature of the tabloid media relying on shoddy sources and false information for the sole purpose of selling magazines, without regard to the truth and without regard to who they hurt in the process. These irresponsible statements are defamatory and Britney Spears’ legal team will be taking legal action against all of the appropriate parties.”

Katy Perry had a lot of wardrobe changes as she performed at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show earlier this month in New York City.

The show aired on TV this week, and featured Perry performing a medley of her hits, including “Teenage Dream,” “Hot N Cold” and “California Gurls,” in a yellow PVC dress covered in pink hearts. The Pop star emerged once again for a performance of her latest single “Firework,” this time, wearing a revealing Todd Thomas purple bustier with a big bustle on the back.

A man was forced to seek medical help after going temporarily blind every time he had sex. The unnamed patient would lose his sight every time he climaxed during intercourse. Bafflingly, the blindness would never occur while performing any other strenuous exercise, the NCBI ROFL blog claimed.

The original report, published by the Department of Ophthalmology at Glostrup Hospital, University of Copenhagen, revealed the cause of the condition to be vasoconstriction, where the muscle walls contract around a blood vessel, restricting the flow of blood. Vasoconstriction is the same condition that causes erectile dysfunction.

Doctors had earlier speculated that an embolism was causing the man’s blindness. The report said: “Hypothetical mechanisms of transient monocular visual loss in our patient include vasoconstriction or embolism in the arterial blood supply of the eye. The repeated and completely transient nature of our patient’s symptoms supports the fact that embolism was not involved.”

Although there has been no official confirmation that Snoop’s presence has been requested at the party, it has been rumored that Prince Harry has been in contact with the rapper regarding the soiree. Snoop said of his decision to record ‘Wet,’ “When I heard the royal family wanted to have me perform in celebration of Prince William’s marriage, I knew I had to give them a little something.”

According to PEOPLE, Snoop calls the risque track, “The perfect anthem for Prince William or any playa to get the club smokin’.”

Veteran emcee Nas has been tapped by Rolling Stone Magazine to provides his list of “Hip-Hop’s Best Lyricists.” as a part of the feature series themed around artists and their playlist.

In the feature, 50 different artists select a themed list and provide their picks for the overall for that particular list.

Although being cited as stating that Hip-Hop was dead, Nas breaks down for fans what he truly meant by the statement and how he feels about music now.
